A woman and her lover decided to push her husband off a cliff in order to take all of his property… but they had no idea how it would end 😱
After an accident, the man became disabled. Once — a strong, confident, successful businessman. Now — in a wheelchair, dependent on help, quiet and almost invisible. For his wife, he was no longer a person, but a burden… a beautiful but useless object that simply sat there and gave nothing.
She could not leave him. In case of divorce, she would end up with nothing. But if her husband “accidentally” died… everything would belong to her.
And so the cunning woman came up with a plan.
She suggested a trip to a waterfall. A romantic trip, fresh air, beautiful views — everything looked perfect. At first, the husband hesitated, but his wife was unexpectedly gentle, attentive, even affectionate. He agreed.
The lover also came with them — supposedly as a family friend.
That day everything looked too calm.
They climbed to the very edge. Below — a huge abyss, roaring water, mist. The rocks were wet and slippery. One wrong step — and it was over.
The man sat in his wheelchair and looked at the waterfall. The wind played with his hair, and his eyes were strangely calm.
The wife stood behind him. The lover approached from the side.
And at that moment, the man understood everything.
— Don’t… please… — he said quietly, without even turning around. — I know what you’re planning… but I will do whatever you say.
They froze for a second. But then they exchanged glances.
— Too late, — the woman replied coldly.
The husband turned around. There was no panic in his eyes. Only exhaustion.
— I have no one left… — he said quietly. — Please…
But they had already made their decision. The lover suddenly pushed the wheelchair.
A moment — and it rolled toward the edge. The wheels slipped on the wet rock… and the man disappeared into the abyss. They didn’t even look down.
The wife covered her face with her hands, pretending horror. The lover started shouting:
— He slipped! It was an accident! Help!
They almost believed in their victory. But less than a minute later… something unexpected happened 😱😥
A voice came from below.
Loud. Clear.
— Don’t rush to celebrate.
The lovers froze.
From the mist, silhouettes began to appear. Several men. And with them… the disabled husband. Alive. Wet, but alive.
The wife went pale.
— How… is this possible?..
He slowly raised his head and looked at them.
— I knew everything a long time ago.
It turned out he had accidentally overheard their conversation days before the trip. At first, he didn’t believe it. Then he checked. And realized it was true.
And then he made his own plan.
He transferred all his assets to other people. Prepared documents. And on the day of the trip, he had already arranged a rescue team waiting for him below.
He knew they would do it. He simply gave them the opportunity.
— Now you have nothing, — he said calmly. — Neither money. Nor freedom.
At that moment, police officers arrived at the cliff.
The wife started screaming, trying to justify herself. The lover stepped back.
