Every Saturday, a new bouquet appeared on my wife’s grave, but none of our relatives did it. So I hid a small camera near the grave to finally understand who was leaving the flowers, and after reviewing the footage, I was left in complete shock 😨
My wife’s name was Laura. She died almost two years ago after a serious illness.

We lived together for seven years. During that time, we had arguments, difficult days, and money problems, but I never doubted that Laura was the closest person in my life.
After her death, I couldn’t get used to the empty house for a long time. In the first months, I would go into the bedroom almost every evening and for a second forget that she was no longer there.
Over time, it became a little easier. I returned to work, started seeing friends, and learned to sleep normally again. But every Saturday, I continued to go to the cemetery.
It was there that I first noticed the strange flowers.
That morning, a small bouquet of white lilies lay near the gravestone.
I decided that Laura’s sister had come, and I even wrote her a message of thanks. But she replied that she hadn’t been to the cemetery for several weeks.
Then I thought of my wife’s friends.
However, a week later, a new bouquet appeared near the grave. This time, there were red roses.
Another week later, someone left daisies. I started asking everyone who might come to see her. No one knew anything.
But the bouquets continued to appear every Saturday. And always early in the morning, before my arrival.
One day I purposely came at seven in the morning, but the flowers were already lying near the gravestone. The next Saturday I came even earlier, but I was late again.
Someone seemed to know when I would be there.
After that, I began to feel not only curiosity but also anxiety.
Now too many questions appeared in my head.
One evening I bought a small camera. Late at night, I went to the cemetery and hid it among the thick bushes opposite the grave.
I was a little ashamed of what I was doing, but the uncertainty had been tormenting me for several months already.
The next week dragged on terribly slowly. On Saturday, I purposely didn’t go to the cemetery. I stayed home and waited until evening, and then opened the camera recording.
For several hours, nothing happened.
People walked along the path, an elderly woman stopped near the neighboring grave, a cemetery worker was clearing dry leaves.
And then the time appeared on the screen — 7:43. A dark car stopped near the grave. And when I saw exactly who got out of the car and approached the grave of my deceased wife, I was left in complete horror 🫣😨
The continuation of the story can be found in the first comment 👇👇

A man of about fifty-five got out of it. He was wearing a gray coat, and in his hands, he held a bouquet of white peonies.
The man walked up to the gravestone and placed the flowers. But he didn’t leave.
He sat down next to the grave and stayed there for almost twenty minutes. Sometimes he said something, but the camera was too far away, so I couldn’t make out the words.
Before leaving, the man touched Anna’s photograph with his hand and lowered his head. It was visible on his face that he felt terrible.
I reviewed the recording several times. The face seemed familiar to me.
And only late in the evening did I remember where I had seen him before. It was Dr. Mark Wilson. It was precisely he who had treated Anna in the hospital before her death.
The next Saturday I came to the cemetery before dawn and hid in the car nearby.
Around nine in the morning, the same dark car appeared. The doctor got out with flowers.
I waited until he approached the grave, and then I followed him.
When he saw me, the man turned sharply pale.
— Do you remember me? — I asked.
He said nothing.
— Why do you bring flowers to my wife’s grave every week?
The doctor looked at Anna’s grave and said quietly:
— I hoped that I would never have to explain this to you.
After these words, everything inside me clenched. I demanded that he tell the truth.
It turned out that after Anna’s first admission to the hospital, the results of one of the examinations showed a dangerous complication. It was necessary to immediately conduct an additional examination and change the treatment.
But the doctor incorrectly assessed the results. He decided that the indicators did not pose a serious threat and allowed Anna to return home.
When a week later she was brought to the hospital again, it was already too late.
After Anna’s death, an investigation was conducted within the hospital. In the documents, the cause of death was listed as a complication of the illness, and the doctor’s mistake never became known to our family.
The doctor admitted that it was he who insisted that I not be told all the details.
He was afraid of losing his job, his license, and destroying his life. But after that, he couldn’t live peacefully either.
He constantly remembered Anna.
From her medical record and conversations during treatment, he remembered that she loved white peonies. That is why, a few months after her death, he came to the cemetery for the first time and brought them. Then he came again. That is how it turned into a habit.
